Zealand University Hospital, Technical University of Denmark, and OptoCeutics are pleased to announce our partaking in the upcoming AD/PD™ 2023 International Conference on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases and related neurological disorders, in Gothenburg, Sweden on March 28 – April 1.

The AD/PD™ Conference is a main event in brain diseases that attracts medical and scientific professionals from all over the world. At OptoCeutics, one of our most important missions is to spread and gain awareness on brain research, cognitive diseases, and treatments of these. Therefore, OptoCeutics is looking forward to the presentations at this year’s conference by Industrial Ph.D. Candidates Mark Alexander Henney and Maibritt Horning:

  1. Presentation 1. Title: “Towards Patient-Centric Automatic Adherence Evaluation In Visual Neurostimulation Treatment Paradigms Using Novel Integrated Gaze Tracking” Through this presentation, we demonstrate high degrees of user adherence in clinical studies. User adherence is key to understanding how patients use this type of Light Therapy System. This presentation revolves around using gaze tracking as a way to measure adherence in clinical trials to enable a nuanced perspective of adherence reporting at different levels.
  2. Presentation 2. Title: “Induction Of Gamma Oscillations With Novel 40 Hz Non-Invasive Light Therapy System In Patients With Alzheimer’s Disease – ALZLIGHT Pilot” This presentation disseminates the very core research of OptoCeutics’s Light Therapy System as a potential treatment for Alzheimer’s disease; the clinical pilot study – ALZLIGHT Pilot. In this study, we demonstrate the fact that we are able to induce a 40 Hz frequency neural response in patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease.
