One of the most common questions users ask is, “How do I know EVY LIGHT® is making a difference?” Our integrated app helps track daily use and monitor progress over a six-week period. This provides insight into the benefits you or a loved one may experience.
Day 1: Getting Started
What to Expect: On Day 1, you will feel the comfort of having a new tool at your disposal. The EVY LIGHT® is non-invasive, easy to use, and designed to integrate seamlessly into daily life. Some users report feeling slightly jarred by the light initially; it’s okay to start slow—15 minutes at a time—and work up to longer sessions.
Dedicated Care Support: On or around Day 1, a member of our care team will schedule a setup session with you to help you get started with the device, answer any initial questions, and get the device connected to the internet. This ensures you’re confident about how to use EVY LIGHT® for maximum benefits.
Things to Know:
- The light may feel intense initially. If it feels jarring, ease into it with shorter 15-minute sessions, building up to the full hour over time.
- You or your loved one do not need to stare directly at the light for it to work effectively. It’s working if it is within arm’s distance (3ft) and within a 45-degree peripheral view.
- Certain users report going beyond 1 hour of use with increased benefits. (individual results may vary)
- Use the light earlier in the day to avoid any impact on sleep, although some users report deeper, more restful sleep when used at night.
- Additional resources and tools are available within the app. Must be connected to the internet

- Monitor for improvements in mood, sleep, or engagement. After 7 days of consistent use, you will be invited to enroll in the 6-week impact assessment. Must be consistently connected to the internet.
